Prosthetics

At our clinic, we offer comprehensive prosthetics treatments, utilizing both removable and fixed constructions to suit each patient’s unique needs. Whether you require a simple restoration or a more complex solution, we ensure that the treatment is tailored specifically for you. A thorough consultation, along with the analysis of X-ray images or CBCT scans, is essential in determining the most appropriate course of action for achieving optimal results.

Our goal is to provide durable and aesthetically pleasing restorations that blend seamlessly with your natural teeth. We prioritize comfort and function in every prosthetic solution, ensuring that your dental health and smile are restored to their fullest potential. By combining advanced technology and expert care, we deliver the best possible outcomes for our patients.

Veneers

Ceramic veneers are thin “shells” that are bonded onto either unprepared or minimally prepared teeth. Thanks to the use of glass-ceramic material, a perfect aesthetic result can be achieved.

Veneers are indicated if you are not satisfied with the color of your teeth, their positioning, have a gap between the front teeth, or large fillings in the anterior region. This method can also improve the aesthetics of teeth affected by fluorosis, enamel hypoplasia, or tetracycline staining.

With ceramic veneers, we can change the shape of teeth, their position within the dental arch, and their color. Prosthetics is a key part of this process, as it involves creating custom veneers that blend seamlessly with your natural teeth for a flawless appearance.

After a consultation, we will take impressions. In the dental laboratory, we will model the shape of your future veneers and show you how they will look on your teeth.

With temporary veneers, we can adjust the shape or size of the teeth if you are not satisfied with the initial look. Based on the shape and size of the temporary veneers, the final veneers will be crafted by dental technicians.

Next, the preparation of the teeth, impression-taking, and fixation of the temporary veneers will be performed. After 7 days, we will cement the final veneers in place.

Price: 10,000 CZK per tooth.

Crown

A crown is a prosthetic restoration used to treat teeth that have lost more than 50% of their chewing surface.

First, the tooth must be shaped on all sides by 1.5-2 mm to ensure the proper thickness of the crown shell.

Then, an impression is taken using a precise silicone material, and the final restoration is fabricated in the dental laboratory. The entire process requires two visits—during the first, the tooth is prepared, and during the second, the crown is fixed in place.

If the defect is deep, root canal treatment may be required before placing the crown.

Crowns can be made from various materials. We recommend all-ceramic crowns, as they are biocompatible and provide the best aesthetic results.

Price:

• All-ceramic – 9,000 CZK
• Zirconia – 7,000 CZK
• Metal-ceramic – 6,500 CZK

The price does not include: impression-taking, endodontic treatment, or core reconstruction.

Bridge

A bridge is a method used to replace missing teeth.

A bridge consists of multiple crowns connected together. If the teeth adjacent to the missing tooth have large fillings, it is more cost-effective to replace the missing tooth using this method rather than with implants. However, if the adjacent teeth are healthy, a dental implant is the preferred option.

During the consultation, we will explain all options and help you choose the best solution.

To prepare teeth for a bridge, they need to be shaped in the same way as for a crown. The bridge structure is then fabricated in a dental laboratory and tested in the mouth. If everything fits perfectly, the structure is sent back to the laboratory for final adjustments.

– 3-unit bridge
• Zirconia with custom staining – 27,000 CZK

• Metal-ceramic – 19,500 CZK

– 4-unit bridge

Ceramic Inlay / Overlay

An overlay is the most modern and effective method for replacing lost hard dental tissue.

For better understanding, an overlay looks like a filling but is made from glass-ceramic, just like ceramic veneers.

The advantage of this prosthetic treatment is that the tooth is not ground down from the sides, preserving a much larger amount of natural tooth structure. The overlay is placed inside the tooth and cemented with a special adhesive, which bonds the surface of the tooth with the ceramic restoration.

Unlike composite fillings, glass-ceramic is stronger, ensuring a much longer lifespan than conventional fillings.

We recommend this method for replacing large amalgam fillings.

Removable Dentures

We are now in a broader category of prosthetic work. Dentures can be used to replace any type of dental defect in the oral cavity. They can be either full (complete) or partial dentures.

Dentures can be made from various materials, each with different properties and indications.

Based on the type of fixation, dentures can be classified into:

  • Dentures with simple retention elements – using wires
  • Dentures with cast anchoring elements – secured using precision attachments
  • Complete dentures anchored on implants
